Sander Werink

Born in the 70’s in the Netherlands, from parents that spent a good amount of time in the
Caribbean. The fact that his parents and siblings lived there, but he didn’t, sparked his desire to
also live in a tropical location. In 2005 the move to Costa Rica was made, and as a life-long
waterski- and wakeboard fanatic the Lake Arenal region was quickly discovered and called
home. Soon Costa Rica’s first wakeboard school was started, and he became the distributor for
the sport’s leading brands.
Meanwhile, through his wife’s successful lake-area Property Management business, he slowly
got involved in real estate. Enjoying this new venture, he decided to pursue that opportunity
more seriously and now joined the 2Costa Rica family.

Free time is mostly spent on the water or other outdoors with his family or friends, music is
another bringer of great joy for Sander, and he has a weird passion for older, often unreliable,
mostly Italian and English cars.
